Disability Sport NI has a range of training courses on offer across all parts of Northern Ireland. These training courses are absolutely essential for anyone interested in overseeing sporting activities and/or clubs inclusive of participants with disabilities.
The 5 Star Challenge is an awareness raising project in which Primary School children take part in 5 Disability Sport challenges. The project is designed to give children a better understanding of Disability Sport and the abilities and success of people with disabilities. To date over 33,000 children have taken part in the project.
Disability Sport NI is pleased to announce a new leadership and volunteering initiative for young people aged 14-19 years. It aims to promote positive attitudes toward young disabled people, increase participation in physical activity, develop inclusive practice and empower thousands of young people to deliver activities in their local community.
