Fundraising events are a great way of not only raising valuable funds but also increasing the profile of disability sports.
There are many fundraising events organised by others that you could take part in from Marathons, to Treks to other sporting challenges or social fundraisers. Check out details of some of these in our What’s On section of the website.
Don’t see a fundraising event or sporting challenge you like, no bother, why not organise your own fundraiser ‘in aid of’ Disability Sport NI. This could be anything from a 5-a-side tournament to a coffee morning or cake sale. Don’t forget to put the ‘fun’ into your fundraising. We can help promote your fundraising efforts and provide resources to help you do so.

Schools & Groups Fundraising
As we work with so many children and young people, we are delighted that as a result of this, many local schools choose to raise funds to help what we do. We love to see children helping other children take part in the sports that they themselves enjoy.
You school could have its very own fundraising day for us, why not have a non-uniform day, a jumble sale, sponsored silence or sports quiz day. You can download our A-Z of fundraising ideas below to give you some inspiration. Or you may want to choose Disability Sport NI as your official charity to support for a whole year. If you are considering this please get in touch with us to learn more about our Schools Fundraising Partnership scheme.
